The Delaware River Sojourn is a seven-day paddling and camping trip on the Delaware River, held annually in June. For over 30 years, the Sojourn has connected people of all ages and experience levels to the Delaware River. By getting people out on the river and experiencing it first-hand, the Sojourn helps connect people with their local waterways, encouraging stewardship of these shared water resources.

The Delaware River Sojourn is built around several key objectives: promoting safe, responsible outdoor recreation, advancing environmental conservation, raising awareness of the river’s environmental, cultural and historical significance and offering an accessible, educational and enriching experience. Through the years, the Sojourn has successfully achieved these goals, inspiring countless participants to become more engaged in environmental advocacy and conservation efforts.

Your tax-deductible donation helps defray operating expenses, keeps participant fees affordable, supports scholarships, and ensures the future of the Delaware River Sojourn for generations to come. Started in 1995, we are one of the longest-running annual river sojourns in the United States.
