The food on the Sojourn is catered by restaurants or chefs depending on the section of the river being paddled. In recent years, most of the days of the Sojourn have been catered by Konrad's Kitchen from Yulan, New York. In addition to consistently good food and excellent service, Konrad works to accommodate special food requirements such as gluten free, vegetarian, and certain allergies. It is important that sojourners participating in the trip note any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special needs when you register for the trip. We will do our best to meet your needs. The caterer may be different based on the section of the river being paddled.
Snacks consisting of chips, energy bars, health bars, and fruit are provided at various times of the day along with soda and water. Sojourners that prefer such items as diet soda, fruit juices, or specific snack items should provide that information in the notes section of the registration form, and, if possible, we will accommodate.
